The centrepiece of the festival is the STEM Fair, a vibrant showcase celebrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The Fair features interactive exhibits contributed by local universities, including Brighton and Sussex, as well as innovative companies, charities, and other organisations. Visitors can explore hands-on demonstrations, learn about cutting-edge research, and engage directly with STEM professionals. In 2024, the Fair hosted over 30 diverse exhibits and welcomed more than 1,200 visitors, providing an inspiring experience for students, families, and the wider community. The event highlights the creativity, curiosity, and collaboration at the heart of STEM.
The STEM Fair is held in Lewes Town Hall. Entrance is via the Fisher Street Entrance. The Town Hall is easily accessible via public transport with Lewes Railway Station just down the hill. Car parking is available nearby at the Needlemakers or elsewhere in town.
2025's fair will take place on Saturday 29 November. The fair will be open from 11am until 3pm.
Attendance at the STEM fair is entirely FREE and you do not need tickets. There will be activities suitable for a wide range of age groups.
